The National Disaster Management Institute started back in 1986 as the Central Civil Defense Institute, Ministry of Interior, has been developing the core place for cultivating experts serving for disaster management and civil defense field. Back in 2006, Civil Defense Training Center and National Institute for Disaster Prevention amalgamated into the National Disaster Management Institute and is now well known for the mecca of research and development as well as education in terms of disaster management.
